The Iganga University Students and Youth Association (IUSYA) is a non-governmental, voluntary membership-based youth organization registered in Uganda since 2019. Formed by a group of university students in Iganga District, IUSYA works to uplift vulnerable and marginalized populations through grassroots youth leadership.
Our programs address critical challenges such as lack of access to sexual and reproductive health education, youth unemployment, gender-based exclusion, and the impacts of climate change. We work directly in schools, communities, and partner networks to deliver sustainable programs at scale.
Our work is governed by a leadership team of experienced volunteers, each trained in development work, monitoring and evaluation, financial accountability, and ethical implementation. We are committed to data-backed, community-informed solutions that create measurable social change.

Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities.
